Vatted Malt Scotch Whisky

With a life long history on Islay, BIG PEAT is steeped and marinaded in the phenolic quality brought about by salient and selected absorption of, amongst others - ARDBEG, BOWMORE, CAOL ILA and even PORT ELLEN Malts.
Fabulously phenolic and strategically small batch in style, it is with attractive design and aggressively good priced.

Nose: Opens fresh, salty and clean – developing to malted barley dried over peat – with a damp earthy character.

Palate: What’s in a name?  Ashes, sweet tar, bandages, beaches and smoking chimneys – all making up  BIG PEAT.

Finish: Long and lingering, it replicates the palate with salty liquorice, smoke, bonfire ashes - being foremost: PHENOLIC. (F)
